One of the three men credited with the founding of
Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. A professor of History,
McClure, along with colleagues Claude A. Phillips and Eldo Hendricks
would create Phi Sigma Pi on February 14th, 1916. He served
at Warrensburg for 18 years. He served as both a National Counselor and
Vice president from 1930 to 1937 and was the first to be awarded with
the service key in 1931.
